hmmmm lets see....
hello all!!!....
well actually there is probably nobody reading this but myself..and i like that..but if more people start reading this (which is both cool and scary)..that's fine too..i'm more one to keep things private..but i've been feeling like getting things off my chest lately..and there's only so much you can write in a tweet;)..
well let me start off by introducing myself..my name is ______....nah i won't be like that...let me do this again...lets just say most people call me mika hence the name of the blog..i'm a recent college graduate with a BS in Nursing!!! (Whoopeee!!! guys it's ALOT of work to be a nursing student). I'm not completely done with college just yet since i "technically" graduated this spring but have to retake an online class in order to get my degree...sigh..hopefully i will be completely done but August with degree in hand so i can take my NCLEX (for all you non nurses, its a exam you take to get your license to practice nursing in the state you live in..basically it lets the state know that you learned enough in nursing school to be a safe nurse and not...well...for lack of a better term... kill patients..)
anywhoo.. enough about moi... you'll learn more as i go along in this blogging adventure..and why did i decide to do this you may ask..well beside pure boredom( no school for now, no job...for now)..like i mentioned before i tend to be a very private person at times..i even stopped updating my status on facebook for sometime just simply because i don't feel people should know what i'm feeling or thinking much less doing 24/7... and then i tried tweeting for the heck of it and found it kind of liberating to just tell whoever beside a selective bunch of friends an acquaintances what i want them to know about what i'm feeling, thinking or doing..even what i'm listening too (shout out to blip.fm!)..most of all i realized that with a more private audience i could learn to be selective in just what kind of information i put out there since that is the whole purpose of twitter (follow information)..now i want to do the same with this blog but on a more intimate level..i mean i can basically write a novel it seems like whereas twitter i'm forced in 150 characters to say what is on my mind..now hopefully people (you guys if you're reading this) get a better since of me..
more importantly i can look back on this a minute from now, next week..or in few years and get a better since of me...weird just from writing this i feel like my chest is lighter :)...
this has been a long enough introduction..welcome to whoever runs across this or whoever i feel brave to share this with.. i hope to share good thoughts, music, books, tv, websites, news..whatever i feel with you..mainly i hope u get to know me:)..better...
