things i've come to realize from this day....

  • as of yesterday this blog has been a week old!!!!! happy 1 week birthday!!!
  • i love being lazy and having absolutely nothing to do...for now...
  • i'm almost 25!!!!! 5 years till 30....wowwwww......
  • i'm lucky to live in hawaii
  • i'm lucky to live in the neighborhood i live in...
  • even though my family is far from perfect....my family is still "my" family and i wouldn't trade them for the world
  • i can't make everyone happy
  • it's okay to say no
  • not everyone is going to understand you...even those that are closest to you...but that doesn't mean they don't love you any less
  • it's okay to cry...it doesn't make you weak..
  • God uses anybody, anything, anyway to talk to you..
  • i've come so far but have so much to learn about myself
  • there's beauty in the unknown...
  • i'm addicted to youtube
  • i'm addicted to checking my facebook, twitter every 5 minutes if i had my way
  • i'm border line OCD...
  • i'm addicted to being on this computer..
  • people are going to disappoint and not live up to your/my expectations
  • i set high expectations for some..
  • i felt a tad bit jealous today...
  • because i think i kinda do like him..
  • but there are and will be many more...
  • a day hasn't gone by where i haven't thought about you..
  • i secretly wonder if you think about me too...
  • i'm glad you found love...hopefully one day i will too...
  • sometimes i wonder or wish what it would be like to be in her shoes...sometimes i wonder where i went wrong..was it something i did or say...
  • but now i know it wasn't meant for me and its okay because i have and love my own shoes...
  • that means i'm ready to find my sun :) and excited and ready to be open, vulnerable, and nuturing for the right one..but for now
  • being single is kind of FUN!!! the not knowing i mean....
  • and i'm worthy...and deserve the best life has to offer...
  • i will be the ex-nursing student from the graduating class of '09 to receive my ATT..
  • but i have more time to study for my NCLEX
  • nothing happens for chance
  • i'm scared to totally done with college
  • i'm scared of what the realworld has in store
  • but i think i'm ready

Talking on the phone today to my sister, she said something to me that struck me. Struck me because it meant a lot. Struck me because just when I thought I was taking a few steps back, I'm actually leaps from where I have been, and stepping further. One step at a time. Struck me because I now know that I'm not the girl I once was, but I'm actually a WOMAN. A woman who may not know everything but knows Some things for sure. So what did my sister tell me that was so profound. She told me this; "I'm PROUD of you, because you were OPEN to a new experience.
