sigh..where to start..where to start...first off let me get this off my chest..HAAAAAAAAAAAAA...
u know i like to call myself an educated person..and on occasion i enjoy educated programming..but for the most part, like a majority of our nation, this nation that we call America..i like for lack of a better word, train wrecks waiting to happen..or that have occured and the damage is so unrepairable u can't turn back..
college hill:southbeach falls under this category.. can i say a WHOLE lot of HOTMESSNESS going on..and thankfully it's not coming from the women on the show..it's the DUDES...
ahhhh where to start..where to start..
well let me start first by explaining what the show is to those of you reading this not knowing what the heck i'm talking about..college hill is a show on BET(black entertainment television)..and as you can imagine a majority of the cast are..well..black...except one dude on their that's a "white jamacian" by his own discription.. the show in a nutcase is basically a black version of the real world..7/8 people living in a house..forced to live together....you get the drift..here's the link if you, like me ,like trainwrecks: http://www.bet.com/onblast/default.html?chan=3&id=3137&i=28&sub=3&itype=v
woooooowwwwww...so if you took time to view it..let me tell you that this a reaction to the latest episode..episode 14.. basically a "love connection" happened between 2 cast members and in true fashion..the dude wants to bail out and deny infront of his friends that he and the other roomate have been playing between the sheets...so all the other roomates decide to call the dude out and he's steady denying that anything happened.."where just friends.. she just here for circumstance"or some crap bailout like that..chick ends up calling dude on his crap..she's hurt like most people would feel..and that's the whole episode in a nutshell..
now this a situation that happens to alot of people..or many people can relate.. i for one..have never really been in this situation and hope not to be..but i do know what it feels like to be interested in someone more than they are into you..i can relate to that..so my empathy naturally falls with the chick.. although she's not free of scorn..ladies how many times have you heard not to open your legs for any guy that whispers sweet things in your ear without having the "stuff" to back it up with??..much less after knowing the guy for a couple weeks at the most..much less in a situation where you're on tv and all your business is bound to be put on BLAST..
Dude on the other hand..i liked him..and i can understand him playing the whole "hard to get" role in front of his homies..but DUDE give the girl some respect..refering to her as a regular downhome "bitch"that you just play around with.. is NOT okay by any standards.. if you want to play it off just say we're just homies..i think she's a cool chick.. we hang out..but that's as far as it goes..not trying to wife anyone.." would be statements that i, if i was the chick in the situation would respect.. i would still be hurt..but i would understand where it's coming from and not take it TOO personally.. and learn to move on the a better guy that is more worthy of my time..but to refer to the woman in the fashion of "bitch"..dude i know you're from the streets but COME ON!!! grow up!!
sigh..so that's my whole take on the situation..it's a situation that when handled by two mature adults can be resolved smoothly..but when one is childish..instances such as what was mentioned occur..and when you have the peanut gallery involved..doesn't make it any better.. dude Brandon who is a member of the peanut gallery cracks me up because he is sooooooooo whack in every which way..he's just mad because he wasn't the dude chich slept with..so he's trying to instigate and get dude to fess up.. "what she's telling homie..is that you be on it..beating it up."..CLASSIC...
